Where the cost is in US$, the course content will most likely reflect U.S. interpreting standards and regulations. Development Opportunities
Does your organization offer continuing education events related to community interpreting?
APPLY HERE TO HAVE YOUR INTERPRETER EDUCATION EVENT RECOGNIZED FOR ACI PD HOURS
The OCCI will assess your event for eligibility as an on-going professional educational opportunity* through which OCCI-ACI accredited interpreters may earn Professional Development Hours required for the renewal of their accreditation. Please allow at least three to four weeks for your application to be reviewed.
On-going/continuing education is considered by the OCCI as distinct from core competency training. To apply to have a core competency training program recognized by the OCCI, please email education@occi.ca directly.
Eligible events will be listed here.
